Hope you have enjoyed summer and charged your batteries for a productive new season!
We are happy to announce that we will host our first Not-Only Java meetup for the new season on Tuesday, September 29th.
We have decided that conditions are not yet appropriate for a physical meet so this will also be an online-only event and the connection details will be shared to those who will RSVP before the event.
In this event Antonis Lillis (https://www.linkedin.com/in/alilis/) will give us a short introduction to the Kotlin language for Java Developers
Abstract: Do you like Java but wish you didn’t have to write so much boilerplate code? Kotlin aims to address many of the pitfalls that are common with Java development, while making your code more concise, safe, and expressive. It is also 100% interoperable with Java and can be mixed in the same project.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in two weeks
Ps. if you didn’t notice, we have a new job listing from Diffbot here: https://www.meetup.com/Thessaloniki-Not-Only-Java/messages/boards/thread/42675122/20#132737800
